I don't know your model, but the filter will be accessible without getting into the innards of the machine.

Look for something that looks like it might turn to unlock, then pull out located low down at the front or the back of the machine.

On my top loader the filter is housed in the spindle of the agitator post. Pulls out and reveals lint bag etc.

SOURCE: Bosch 500 washer won't finish rinse cycle. Flashing error code13

Timed out on drain cycle, basically you either have an outlet blockage or something is trapped in the pump, you can check the pump by opening the bottom right flap on the front panel, manually emptying the w/m and checking the pump filter for coins etc. Also, check the outlet isn't blocked.
Good Luck.

SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt DLX washer-can't open round panel in lower front

Its easy to do, and no you dont need to be a tech. I use a small screww driver w/ the tip in the hole push it left or right until it comes loose. then just un screw the pump cover. be careful the edges are razor sharp.

SOURCE: filter

If` there is a removable panel at bottom front of washer, remove it, and you should find the filter located there.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Bosch WFF1800 - not spinning

HI,

move the kicking plate on the front-bottom of the machine. You will see o circular lid there, turn it on anti-clockvise to open. All of the water blocked will come from there, be careful. Look carefully that there are some objects blocking the water draining. Then turn on the machine on draining programme, the plastic rotor should turn fastly when the machine is on. If it is not running, change the pump motor. If it is running, but machine is not draining again you can understand that there is an objeck stuck on the hose between drum and pump motor. Lay down the machine on its rear facade, you will see a large and black hose between drum and pump motor. When you remove it, you will see that there is something that blocks water running.

thank you for using fixya, rate my answer,

SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt 500 Plus Elect Dryer Error E01

Absolutely those dryer sheets are the root of all evil....I would also recommend a good vent brush to clean your dryer vent.
Follow these steps, it worked for me:
1. use a shop vacuum to clean out the dry vent or a vent brush.
2. Clean your lint filter with windex, hot water and and soft bristle brush.
If this doesnt work try running the until disconnected from the vent for a cycle to isolate the vent as your issue.

Cheers!

My Bosch vision 300/500 DLX series washing machine continually dispenses hot water no matter what cycle I have dialed in. What can I do?

if it's hot and cold fill machine , have you got the hoses connected correctly hot to hot supply , cold hose to cold mains supply
if its cold supply only to machine , make sure it's not connected to hot water supply, this could be worth checking.

Washer won't drain, E:13 code flashing

From user manual:

Indicator light "rinse" is lit and display is flashing "E:13" with no water remaining in the drum.
For some reason drain pump is blocked.
Clean the water drainage pipe and/or drain hose.

My Bosch Vision 300/500 DLX series washer machine washer stopped in mid cycle, with error code 13. What to do

The code means that the water is taking to long to pump out
unsrew the pump filter at the bottom front right
have some towel ready to soak up the water
clean and replace filter
most times this fixes the fault
if it doesn't then check for a blocked drain hose or faulty pressure switch

Yep, Bosch are bad and common to fault at a very young age, ECU in these machines are far from satisfactory and would steer clear of Bosch at all costs

HOW TO RESET E27 CODE ON A BOSCH VISION 300/500/DLX CLOTHES WASHERS

You first of all need to check the pump filter. This is located at the bottom front right of washer. Look for a drop down flap or cover, once located, unscrew filter anti-clockwise to remove and clean. Of course be prepared for a lot of water and junk. The pump itself is directly behind the filter housing, check there to see if anything is stuck in the plastic blades. It should turn freely. Your washer door will not open if there is water in the washer, just some kind of precaution, so don't force the door.

Front load washer Bosch Vision 300/500/DLX will not drain getting a code of E27 can you help. Can't find the code # in the booklet that came with it.

A code E27 means a problem with the door lock. Try unpluging the machine for an hour and see if it resets the lock.

If not remove the cover on the lower right corner you will see a white plastic pull cord. Pull the cord and pull open the door. If that doesn't reset the door lock you will need to replace the lock.

E17 error code

Got an E17 Error today on a Bosch 6450 Series washer (the user manual says Bosch Vision 300/500/DLX series). Here's what I did to fix the problem.
- Tilted the unit back, propped up the front with some 2x4 (lying flat; that's all the room I had).
- removed 3 screws (Torx 20 I think) under the front lip. Then slid the cover (below the washer opening) down. This revealed the pump to empty the washer, a manual door lock opening pull rod, and a drain line (?)
- Looking through some holes in the front panel I saw some water on the bottom of the washer... but I spent a lot of time with the pump cleaning it out first (some zipper pull got in there and made a lot of plastic shavings). - Ultimately I got my hand the bottom of the washer and soaked up the water that I could find. That's when I realized
- there is a micro switch mechanism at the bottom near the front. This must be the "AquaStop". The mechanism contains a bit of styrofoam that floats up on any little amount of water that collects under it and triggers the microswitch. So, I removed that unit, wiped the water up... put it all back together. No more E:17 error.
Still don't know how the water got there in the first place though.

Bosch DLX series didn't drain, now no power

I had a Bosch DLX series dishwasher that had multiple problems.

First, it had greyish water in the bottom and pushing the power button did not turn on any lights. it had mostly finished a cycle, but not quite. my first thought was to clean it out. i sponged out all the water and removed and cleaned out the filters from the bottom which were all quite nasty. i found food, tiny bones, etc. I cleaned it out and that did nothing but was still probably the cause of the problem. I called Bosch tech support and asked about areset switch. There is none. They told me to switch off the circuit breaker for 30 MINUTES to reset everything. I did that which did not fix the problem.

I then examined the connector wires (connecting the electric to my house wiring) which are in the front under the kick plate, and discovered that they had MELTED! The wiring supplied by Bosch was stranded wire, and my home wiring is solid core. i trimmed the burnt stuff and reconnected it with new wire nuts. if this happens again i plan to disassemble the dishwasher's electric and replace the stranded wire with the good stuff.

That restored the electric and the lights and display. i then ran a test cycle and it seemed to just hum. my guess after googling a bit was that the float was stuck in the up position, and it was trying to drain. This site http://www.applianceaid.com/boschDW.html told me how to run the test mode.

"To start test program, press and hold both POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH program buttons, then turn unit on by pressing ON/OFF button. When program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press ON/OFF button."

The test mode tested out all functions which I think wound up reseting the float switch which actually fixed the rest of it.
