Try booting to safe mode and check if your mouse works inside safe mode.
Restart the computer and tap F8 until you see the options to boot to safe mode. Use the arrow keys to highlight either safe mode or safe mode with networking. Hit enter.
Once you are inside safe mode, check if your mouse works. If it works, then you just need to update the mouse driver. You can use RadarSync to search and install the update into your computer. You better use Safe Mode with Networking because
RadarSync needs the internet or even the manual updating process needs an internet connection.

Right-click on My Computer and select Manage. Select Device Manager from the list on the left in the window that pops up, and on the right look for any yellow question marks. Maximize the "Mice and other pointing devices" section (if it exists) and see if your device is listed there. What is it called?
