I have a GE front loader on a pedestal & needed to remove the drawer. I got an answer from their website below. Basically, on this model, unscrew the hex-head screw at the FRONT of the side rails on each side.

Ok ladies and gents.I have a kenmore 45862400 that went on me.The dreaded bearings.Had to take the pedestal off so I hopefully can use it on a new whirlpool thats coming today. You have to take the draw front off.6 screws inside and 1 on each of the sides.Once you take this off pull the draw out and its sits in there like a tube.By the way machine lasted almost 5 yrs.Stripped it of all parts.Mom and cousin have the same model.Good luck.

SOURCE: Samsung Pedestal Drawer
If you pull out the drawer (completely) you should find 1 or 2 screws on each side that bolts the slider to the drawer. Remove these, then lift out the drawer. This then gives you full access inside. ...JimS

SOURCE: Washer is off balance. Need to get to levelers.
Remove the two phillips screws inside the front right and left side of the drawer. They have 3/8 nuts holding them to the drawer rails. The drawer separates from the rails and comes out, leaving the rails attached. The levelers can be adjusted with a 1/4 inch wrench after loosening the 9/16 locknut under the base. This drove me crazy too, until someone mentioned taking the screws out as a step in removing the entire pedestal. For what it's worth, I posted this question to sears online and received an email saying: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with the information you
have requested.

Our pedestal drawer won't close all the way. We want to take the drawer out to see if something fell behind it to stop it from closing. We can't get the drawer out.
