PUK code is called as PERSONNAL UNBLOCKING KEY.
Your phone will ask for PUK code when you entered the PIN code wrongly several times depending upon the mobile make. The mobile asks for PUK code so that unauthorized persons do not use your mobile for wrong cause.
To get PUK code please contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office. They will provide you the PUK code for your mobile. The PUK code for mobile phone.so that you can open your phone. When you planning to call your service provider you cannot use your mobile as it is fully locked. Please use some other mobile with same network to call your service provider.
While you get the PUK code ,the service provider customer care officer will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only. If they are satisfied with your answers they will provide with the PUK code
DONOT enter the PUK code several times wrongly,It will block your sim card permanently.

Hi i try to put on pin code reqest on Nokia E72 and i dont know how but i blockt my phone.it says new 6 attempts remaining .Enter PUK code. What sould i do? help me please .

PUK and PIN are two security features provided by the service provider. The defaults are 00000000 (eight zeros) and 12345 respectively. BUT, given wrong three or more times locks the SIM and it has to be replaced for a small charge to retain the old number. Hence, you must call up the helpline of the service provider and ask for a SIM or the procedure to undo the damage. And in future I would suggest not to use these codes anywhere as we all tend to forget them sooner or later.

Hi, every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.

a PUK number is a security code. if you have entered your pin number in wrong a few times then the PUK locks your phone. Just give your network provider a call and request a PUK number. that should unblock it
