How about more information. maybe a symptom or something . with this description all I can suggest is 8 seer get a new one it is not efficient

matching furnace and coil as listed in the certification then you will get 16 seer rating. If they installed something different than what is listed in the certificate then demand all parts listed or a refund.

Goodman SSZ140481AG, what is it? is it 14 seer or 15 seer? I paid for 15seer but the unit has a decal on it reading 14 seer??? Thanks
It is federal law that each new piece of A/C equipment have the yellow SEER rating.
The higher the SEER, the less electricity the system uses to operate.
You need to follow up since it appears your contractor installed a less efficient/expensive system than what you paid for.

I cannot find the seer rating or tonage of a Goodman air conditioner serial number 9908524497
My books do not go back far enough to get you the Seer rating, it is a 5 ton unit and as the serial number shows it to be a 1999 model, it is probably a 10 SEER unit, maybe a 12 seer, but not likely, but I can tell you that it was manufactured on the 8th week of 1999.

Just had the haier 4 ton 13 seer outside unit installed. my inside unit is a payne and still in good condition.had a 4 ton 10 seer outside unit previously. my problem is the unit froze up the first night...
Your problem is that your 13 seer outdoor unit is not compatible with your 10 seer indoor unit, even though the tonnage is the same. The metering device on 13 seer indoor units is different. Most 10 seer indoor units do not have an expansion valve. When you change from a 10 seer outdoor unit to a 13 seer outdoor unit, you must, at the very least, change the from a fixed-orfice metering device to an expansion valve.

Not blowing cold air
Your in house core could have frozen over. check the core inside the indoor blower unit. it may have frozen over. this will interrupt the cold air function.
