When you bring the menu up on the screen one of the items will let you select cable; another item will let the set autoprogram, let it run through all the channels and it will select what channels you should receive-then you can do channel up/down.

U-verse will not show on guide plus rca

its not always going to be channel 3, it depends on the input cable you are using, if you are using an HDMI cable you need to switch to the hdmi input, same with component, and if you are using RCA cables it will probably be called video. Try your other inputs dont just stop at channel 3. If you are using coax and its supposed to be on channel 3, make sure you are on the correct coax jack on the receiver, make sure its the "to tv" jack not the "to wall" jack.

Coaxial hookup broke off. Can i use an s cable through vcr? need instructions.

If your Sharp television has RCA jacks, you may use them through your VCR. Your VCR would have to have a tuner and then you may use this as a means for getting a signal. Newer VCRs and DVD players generally do not have a tuner. Thanks for asking!

I can not program the tv with the cable, which input goes with the cable channel. I have a 32 inch RCA with SRS . HELP

I do not see a question. "Which input goes with the cable channel?" Don't understand. Is there a cable box or SAT box connected to the TV? What kind of cable is running to the TV from the source? If you just have the coax cable going from the wall to the TV, then you need to auto format the channels. Select menu on the TV remote. Find Sources or Cable. Select "Cable" not "Air". Select Auto Format. May take several minutes. Input selector from TV remote should be "TV".

I have a 1988 RCA console tv. How do I switch between video inputs? Ive always just used the coax but it has composite inputs also but I can't get a signal through on it.

Use channel up or down buttons, the inputs are usually in between the highest and lowest channels you have programmed, or if you have a remote try entering channel 90 or 91 another possible is enter 00.

Need the remote code for a phillips dvd player

These are the codes printed in the owners manual for your dvd/vcr player. If they do not work you will have to contact Emerson and ask them for help getting the code. The contact number should have come with the instructions for the remote. Just give them the model number of you remote and the units model number and they should be able to help you. I hope this information helps you with your problem. Switch the input selector on your TV to an appropriate external input channel (usually near channel 0).
Press a button on the TV’s original remote control that selects an external input channel until the DVD
recorder’s picture appears. Check your TV owner’s manual for details.

Try the old RCA/GE channels of 90/91 or 92 to get to the inputs. Or try entering channel 00. Let me know if that works.
