Kenmore F/L Washer Model 41743142200 tub loose

The tub on my Kenmore F/L Washer Model #41743142200 is very loose. It rotates fine whether spinning slow, fast, counterclockwise or clockwise but about 4 times during the cycle, it makes a really big banging noise ‘cuh clunk, cuh clunk’ for a few seconds. The banging seems to happen after some water drains and it starts to go counter clockwise.

It was a shock that was broken and since then we ordered and installed the replacement part and my washer is working better than ever. Thank you!!!!!

this sounds like a timer problem, but need the make and model number to be sure, this model number will be on a on the rear panel of washer, or with the original owners manual.

KENMORE, Model # 41743142200 gets stuck in mid cycle. It keeps pouring water into the washer and right out the drain. (Slowly) It will sit on the cycle as long as you let it.(Timer not moving) Never...

You may have a drain hose cyphoning out the water. Make sure you have a air gap in the drain between the hose and the drain pipe and make sure the drain hose is higher than the tub of the washer. If this is clear you may have one of the following. Either a bad water level switch or a bad inlet valve. To find out if the water valve is bad while the water is pouring in unplug the machine and see if the water stops. If the water stops the valve is fine. If the water continues to flow you will need a new valve. If the water stops then you will need a water level switch. Let me know what happens and I will be happy to help.

Replacing shocks on front load washer

through the lower door panel in front of machine. Why???? is machine walking , bouncing or other wise?? This machine spins at HIGH Rpm's so most usual problem is one leg maybe unlevel or possible wood floor maybe "giving " as machine spins and allowing the machine to walk...but then again if machine is "old" shocks could be worn out

Kenmore 90 Series washer needs two spins to remove water

We have exact same washer. It is 11 years old. We are at a point where we have to spin it 7 times and then still isn't too dry. It dies yesterday a very loud death. Mentioning this here because it could be a foreshadowing of your Kenmore 90's future.

Following your description the problem is with the lid switch. Get an access to it and find out whether something prevents his smooth movment, its has a loose wire connection or the switch is malfunction and should be replaced. Good luck!
