I have the same problem on both front wheels of a Graco pushchair I inherited. I took the wheel assembly off and had a friend weld steel washers onto the end of the frame and then I pushed the barbed plastic pivot in. It worked for a bit but damage to the plastic barb causes the wheel assembly to fall off without much encouragement. Now looking for Plan B. It may involve more welding and modifications. Not sure what Graco parts cost but would imaging getting them to South Africa where I live would be prohibitively expensive. – MH

Further to my last post on broken front wheel pivots on a Graco pushchair: turns out the South African agent has his wharehouse in my very neighbourhood. New pivots were obtained and fitted after angle-grinding off the old, ineffective repair. So a happy ending. -MH

The model 'Manhattan' is no longer in the Graco program but according to the warranty linked below, yours should still be covered - if, as usual, you have the sales receipt. I checked for recall notices on that product but didn't find anything incriminating so yours must be an isolated failure.

I confess I would be hopping mad about a product failure that endangered my child.
