My son spilled mica all over my carpet. To clean it I used my bissel vaccuum. Now I have orange mica in the removable filter area as well as up inside the part that spins. I need to clean it out, but don't know how to remove it from the vaccuum

Load it into the trunk of your car, take it to a gas station and use the tire inflater hose to blow all the **** out of it. May have to get a tire stem in order to use it as a blower.

Why won't my Bissell Carpet cleaner 34T2E suck? My carpet produces a lot of residue, but I clean that from the roller area.

Make sure all the tanks are seated properly and all clamps are securely clamped. I found that if it's not all sealed tight it won't suck. Also make sure the red filter is clear debris. You can hear the difference when it's all tightly sealed. Hope this works for you.

My carpet cleaner wont stop leaking water after cleaning and i need keep vacumning up excess water

The unit works on suction and can develop a syphon if the filters get clogged. There's 2 filters that you should be cleaning after each use. One filter is located under the Flow Inidicator: Unscrew the Flow Indicator Cap to remove it. Lift out the rotor and the filter is under it. Lift out the filter and clean. Reinstall in reverese order. If that didn't help you may want to call Bissell Consumer Care at 1-800-237-7691 Hope that helps.

Why is the solution coming out of both lower sides of my Bissell carpet cleaner

First try cleaning the filters. One under the water tank cap (looks like a screen) remove it, clean and replace it. The other is a Flow Indicator Filter = unscrew the Flow Indicator remove the rotor and pull out the filter. Clean it and reinstall in reverse order. If that doesn't work the call the Consumer Care at 1-800-237-7691, Hope that helped.

Spot Bot leaves mold rings

Hey, the mold ring is showing the carpet is now clean in comparison to the rest of the room.

You may want to have the rest of the carpet cleaned using a BISSELL deep cleaning machine or by calling a professional.

How do i use my bissell 7920

The 7920 is a great little carpet shampooing vacuum. Look up manual information for detailed assembly and starting/breakdown procedures. Make certain that the carpet/floor has been vacuumed previous to cleaning with the shampooer! The small nozzle opening will get clogged with as little as a toothpick or cheerio! Step on the rear release arm pedal and drop the handle down to the floor, Pull up on the resevoir bucket handle and place the handle of the resevoir back down to open the top of the tank and fill the bladder with hot water. Replace bucket top and place bucket back into vacuum. Raise the handle until it clicks into place. Fill on board soap/shampoo dispenser by lifting out of chamber on unit and fill with appropriate Bissell or upright shanpoo cleaner. Replace unit and make certain the top is tight. Plug unit in and turn on both vaccuum switch and preheat water switch and wait approx. 2 minutes to get water hot enough to proceed with cleaning. Start by rollling cleaner onto carpet and engage trigger approx 2-3' pathway away from you and then release trigger and draw vacuum /shamppoooer back over wetted area, repeat without using water again unless heavier traffic area. Do not over wet area draw unit back and forth a few times until water runs clear thru the front clear window. Proceed to make another path along side cleaned area and so on.
Once you hear the water run out or you have finished cleaning an area then shut of heater and vacuum. release handle with foot pedal release and lift out bucket and pour out dirty water and rinse area/tank /resevoir etc. You should also clean the small red filter in the resevoir of any debris by popping out and replacing. Also, there is an onboard filter under the clear window (where spinner is located) . unscrew clear top , take out spinner device and pull out small plastic screen and rinse or blowout. Clean also the front clear cover if there is debris, by rinsing off with sprayer or wiping clean. You may also find that you have to take off the clear plastic hood window, by unscrewing two screws on either side of nozzle opening (top ) and rinse out as well. Do not, get water under unit into motor area. Place unit upright and in a warm place.. Do not let freeze if in climate that is known to freeze. Good luck cleaning!!

The bissell proheat is leaving too much water on the carpet

Sounds as though the machine needs a good clean before using again. Remove all the dirt, grease and hair from the transparent areas by removing the covers and then reassembling. Also this can be caused by running the cleaner too fast across the carpet.

I have the bissell x2 12 amp carpet shampooer

The water should be picked up fairly rapidly into the area surrounding the clean water bladder. Try checking the lint filter to fix your suction problem. It is located in the top clear plastic section (the one with the dial to switch from tool to floor use). One the under side of it there is a small (1 inch square) red filter with a little door on it. Flip open the door and it is probably clogged with hair, carpet fibre. etc.. Clean it out and you should have suction.

Dust blowing out of my vaccuum cleaner

Usually when dust is blowing out it is caused by a clog, either the hose, or the dirt inlet down by the brush roll is clogged. Check them and clean them out and you should be ok.
