Download Partition Wizard and install it. Put your 4GB drive in and open Partition Wizard and click on your 4GB drive. On the left side click wipe partition and click format then click apply and wait. Now your drive is completely blank and all 4GB are back. Hope this helps.

My TDK 8gb flash drive only has 4gb

Right click > Properties. Is it 8 or 4? Format if 8. You will lose all data, so backup first.

Or are you just referring to free space?

Hi. I have a 4GB TDK usb device and it is showing memory full with only 12 MB used. Please help.

Hi,
Save what ever is on the flash drive. Go to 'My Computer' and right click on the pen drive icon. Select 'Format', un-check quick format option and click OK. Acknowledge the warning about loosing data.
That should do it.

8gb TDK trans-it flash memory is invisible

Hello,

You can try this out:
After powering up your system, and you have plugged the flash drive, then Right-Click on my computer icon, select manage, then go to Disk Management Option.

On the Disk management option Page you should see ALL the drives installed on your system, including the hidden ones, so what you will just do is, try and locate the one representing your flash drive, and right click on it. then select "Change Drive letter and Paths", and give the drive any new, unique letter (i.e alphabet) different from the ones already on your system, and click on OK.

This should make your Flash Drive to be detected automatically.

Kindly keep me posted about the problem

Hope this helps you out.

Goodluck!
