The drivers is not a problem for your case. If you can not select the 1600X900 resolution (this is the native resolution for your monitor) the problem is at your VGA; it does not support this resolution. What is brand / model is your VGA (or if you use the on board at the motherboard what brand / model is your motherboard)?

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.

The driver that you are using for your video card doesn't support the resolution of this monitor probably.

I got a new hard drive and it will not recognize the HF207 screen. The shown screen size is normal size, not the whole wide screen size. What do I do?

You need to reload the driver you got with your monitor. Native resolution for the HF207HPB is 1600 x 900. Once you've loaded the proper driver you should select this screen resolution.

Hello

I bought a VGA to HDMI converter on Ebay. It works OK, but I prefer using a DVI to HTML adapter. As to the main problem. This has to be a driver issue. I'm wondering whether your drivers will work with Vista SP. It's the Japenese characters that are really puzzling. The Generic PNP monitor driver is the Windows resident. It's not loading your HDM drivers. I'm afraid I can't give you a definitive answer. I would like to see if this combination worked with XP. I'm betting it would.

Sorry I couldn't help more.

Hannspree 23 inch monitor - driver problems

In my experience, monitors do not need drivers. Video cards do. Make sure your video card drivers for your computer are up to date. The card is what makes the picture on the monitor.

Will Hannspree 20 inch widescreen work with Windows XP? Having trouble with a couple websites using XP and the drivers are for Vista.

Well in theory as a plug and play monitor it should work. However you will have to be wary of certain things such as whether the drivers will be essential for use. Best thing to do is check with your retailer first.

No XP driver for Hannspree New york 19 inch monitor

Hi David,

Thanks for the comment regarding what type of computer equipment that you have. The integrated video card that you are using definitely is not designed for the widescreen monitors and will not work properly with the widescreen (as you have noticed). The solutions that you can use would be to get a non-widescreen standard monitor or install a new video card that has widescreen capability.

Hope that helps,

Take care,

Michael
