The dishes are not getting clean and the top spray bar is not spinning

I would check for a water flow blockage in the pipes.

Most dishwashers have a rotating spray bar underneath the upper rack. Over time bits of food can clog up the holes and then dishes won't get clean in the upper rack. Check to make sure all the holes in the spray bar are clear and that it is rotating freely.

Check whether the top spray bar is catching on the dishes or on the drawer itself, check the free rotation of the spray bar.

Check the small round filter mesh, make sure its clean and that its not clogged. Use a degreaser on your machine then put it throught a hot wash to rinse it through.

Remove the bottom and top spray bar and inspect the spray holes and make sure they are completly un obstructed. Replace the spray bar and check that they spin freely. If they are not spinning well remove them again and check the mating surfaces for contamination and wear. if they are worn both the spray bay and their respective receptacles will need replacing.

Hi, the soap is clotting because there isn't enough water being sprayed around inside. The water spray washes the soap out of the dish, if all is working well. My machine had the same problem. I had sufficient water level, but the spray head wasn't spinning very well. I found the end-most hole in the spray bar to be plugged. It is the end hole that provides a jet that makes the head spin. I cleaned a bunch of debris out of the hole and the machine started working and cleaning like it was new.

Please check if something is blocked near the top spray arm, also make sure that all holes are open. Use a sharp metal pin to clean the holes on the top spray arm. Make sure the water pressure is not low.

under the screen and you'll need a Torx screwdriver to get to it after you remove the spray arm and screen. Check to see that the path it travels is clear. I have seen these get blocked up by stuff.

Now check if the top arm spins freely and check the bearings for the arm, if they are producing extra friction while the spray arm spins. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more assistance.

IF you take the racks out and look at the back you will see a tube that runs from the pump to the upper rack spray bar. The tube has TWO connections that the upperspray bar contacts but it only uses one of them. The other is closed off by a interior flap. If the flap comes loose, it wont allow enough pressure to the top spray bar. If the pump is plugged it wont build pressure either.
