My screen keeps blacking out, we actually have to wiggle the screen until it shows the desktop...after a day of that, we now can't get the screen to work. I have held my fingers on the hindges and the picture has come on the screen, so the computer itself works, it seems there is a short in the screen

Well if you wiggle it , and it works that proves beyond a dought, there are bad connections inside.
with that hard fact what is the answer.
the answer is get it repaired in shop.

or read a book on laptop repair, and not make it worse

as most folks do, wrecking connectors , done wrong.
it doesn't matter if it is a short or open at all what does matter is the connections are bad, what your tech does is look first.
at all LCD cables, and reseats them.
and retest them and if fails checks LCD by pressing in spots that fail there, more connections.
all this info is standard procedures in any real shop.

The fault may be a broken ribbon cable that connect the screen to the motherboard. Less likely is that the connector is loose on the motherboard. The connectors are normally very well seated and don't normally come loose.

One thing that you must do, is that if you can get the screen working, even once, save all your important files and pictures onto an external device, such as a USB stick.

SOURCE: Screen Blinking Problem.

Try pressing the F8 key before windows starts. You will get a boot menu. first try booting in safe mode, if that works from the boot menu restore the system to a prior backup session.

Testimonial: "Thanks but I don't have windows. Sorry, I should have mentioned that above."

My computer becomes black screen. what is the way to solve it ?

If you "wake" the computer, with the mouse or by hitting a key, such as the spacebar, does you desktop show up? Or does the screen stay black?
Please let me know - if you're desktop appears, then you simply have no screensaver selected. This is an easy if, and also hurts nothing by not having one. (better actually).

Black screen WII

Either the wires arent plugged in or your tv has a technical problem with "Tv Input." If your tv had wiring problems with the red/yellow/white cords, wiggle the cords until something is shown on screen and try to keep it shown on screen with something. Hope that helps.

I cannot get on the site by the desktop icons anymore . They are just showing the circle that does not stop.

You need to shut the computer off.
When you restart it, press the F8 key (actually, keep tapping on the F8 key) until you see the menu that asks if you want to repair windows. You will need to tell the computer to do a system restore back a day or two to when it was working.
I think there is a program trying to load that can't load.

Screen is showing cannot display this video mode

Turn the computer off. Turn the computer on, and keep banging on the F8 key, until you see a start-up menu (white on black). Choose to start Windows in 'VGA' mode. Windows will start in "low resolution" (800 by 600 with 256 colours). Adjust it, as per normal, to whatever your video-card and your computer-monitor will support.

The l226wtq goes black

Try shining a flashlight on the screen, or without the flashlight, try to see if you can distinguish anything on the screen at all, if you do, the backlight is dead, or the monitor has an internal most likely unfixable problem.
