Hello. You just have to pull and turn the crown found in the 3H location of your watch. Normally for timex watch with date function, you have to pull the crown on the 2nd pull position or until the hands move when you turn the crown.
mcdevito75 here, Let"s hope your description of the problem with your watch is wrong. Try this sequence, First, wind your watch, the automatic continues to wind your watch when you where it but to get it started, wind it 20--30 times. 2nd, your crown locks down, turn the stem Clockwise to un-lock it (the stem) now pull the stem all the way out then back in 1/2 way to set date. Set DATE to DATE before the real date turn crown counterclockwise. Now pull out crown all the way and turn clockwise to set the DATE and time (real Date) push the crown back in and turn counterclockwise to lock the crown. If this doesn"t work, look for a small watch repair shop in your area for this adjustment.
mcdevito75 here, The crown should be a 2 position crown, try this, pull out the crown as if to set the hands, rotate the hands, (adjust the time) around the dial until you have the right day, Now! push the crown in, Now! slip your finger nail just under the crown and lift the crown to it"s first notch or position, this should allow you to turn the crown and adjust the date, when at the date push the crown back in and your done.
Pull the crown out to the 2nd click...rotate the hands clockwise until the day or date changes, that will let you know that the watch is at midnight. Set the correct time, push the crown in all the way. Now pull it out to the first click and turn either direction to change the day/date to english! When your watch is correctly set then push the crown all the way back in and you are finished! :-)
You should be able to pull the crown out ( the piece on the right hand side that sets the time) half-way. Your watch has three settings for the crown: all the way in, half-way out , and all the way out that sets the time. Pull it half way out and turn the crown clock-wise. You should hear a click when you do this. If the date dosn't change turn it again. The date should move for you. If you find it dosn't please let me know , and I will be glad to research the answer for you. Good luck!!
Yes that is ok its right by pulling the crown winder in the mid level or half level, that is for calendar date.To check if function is ok or broken, just pull full the crown and set the time, see if the calendar date is changing or moving. Then if moving then its ok,the next step you do set is the calendar date,by pulling the crown half pull, then turn the crown counterclockwise for date and for the day turn clockwise.Feel free to post whatever the result of the setting...
