Computer board shows UL even when very few clothes are in the washer

The washer goes through the cycle just fine until it reaches the rinse/spin cycle. Then it show UL which it is saying that the load is unlevel. I stop the cycle, the timer shows 12 minutes. I rearrange things push the start button, the UL shows up again and the washer just continues to fill with rinse water. Even if I put a very small load of clothes in the washer it does the same thing. I then have to wring the clothes out by hand and try to let the dryer do it's thing.

    I'm having the same problem as most UL'ers are having!

    I can put as little as one article of clothing and the rinse/spin cycle will go crazy. Please someone help me fix this problem.....!

    I am having the same problem *** my machine getting ul and i am about ready to throw it out the door.I docare what I do even without anything in the washer it still does it.HELP I need a solution.

    I have this same problem. I had it before the upgrade and still have it after the upgrade. Now my wash time has doubled since the upgrade as well.

    Washer keeps displaying error code ul during drain and spin cycle I even ran the washer with no clothing in it. I see lots of other complaints on this issue. How can I fix this myself?

Try it with a few clothes placed along the outer walls of the drum. It has a sensor that will try to balance the load before going up to full speed but if there are no clothes or weight in the drum, it won’t start.

If the washing is not distributed evenly by the time it reaches the rinse/spin cycle, it goes back to rinse cycle. Be present at the machine when it reaches the spin cycle. observe the drum to see if it is of balance and swaying to the sides, if so distribute washing evenly. Usually happens if there is a big garment or more with smaller items,

Try running with no clothes? If still shows UL when empty running, your machine needs service. P.S. use HE detergent or else.

Youshould make sure that the washer is on a concrete floor andmake sure it is level.
Do not put the washeron a wooden floor that moves when you jump up and down. Any ecentric loads will cause the washing machine tovibrate more.

If the washer throws an UL error code with out any clothes in the washer then the issue must be concerned with the mechanical alignment inside the machine or a bad CCU.

The most common problem which can cause this is some sort of mechanical hinderance which does not allow the basket to move freely.

The suspension system which holds the basket in its place might be faulty and causing the unbalancing. In this model i think there are plastic ring at the bottom of the basket . Even if they are worn out or moved out of position it may cause the UL error code you are facing

Thanks for using FixYa. UL is displayed when the machine/motor control detects an off-balance load, and is steady on while the washer runs a mini-cycle to rebalance the load.
• Display clears if mini-cycle successfully rebalanced the load.

sd is suds error. add only HE soap. UL is unbalanced load. watch load size and balancing loads.
