Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

I have exactly the same problem and the same machine

Ours fails to empty after first rinse and then the spin light flashes - can sometimes move it on to spin cycle and get it to drain and spin but not always. Have tried cleaning pump filter etc as in the manual but still happens

Hi my washing machine has been doing the same too, at every other cycle it stops at spin and I have to manually drain the water and then try to run the machine again. I noticed it happens when I use the calgon tablets. Any advise will be greatly appreciated

bosch exxcel 1200 stop-s on sp-in and has to be drained , why

Ok, I know this one's old, but someone else might come on here with the same problem. I'm not sure for everyone but we: 1 cleaned out the filter; 2 took all pipe that drains the water out and gave that a good cleaning too. It was blocked with limescale and smelly crud. Now the cycle goes all the way through so that was our problem - not draining so not engaging on spin cycle. Cheap, efficient and extremely smelly! But fixed ... I hope ...

had this problem. Found the belt covered in oil. Cleaned it and this problem went away. A week later now it does the same thing in the wash cycle. I see no one is getting an answer to this. Hope you don't buy a Maytag I wont again.

Check the door safety switch. Microswitches and magnetic switches will break. ,

Bosch Classixx 1200 Express wont spin!!!! HELP

Make sure that all the water has drained from the washer, if it has a filter, remove and clean, it is located behind a removable plastic panel at the front of the m/c, if it still does not spin, suggest you remove motor and check the brushes for wear, this is often the reason it won't spin, but will wash o/k.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks
