This is a common problem. This usually happens when either A) too many ingredients are added to the jar or B) the blade spokes do not sit properly in the coupling (the rubber piece). The coupling can be replaced easily. There is a great video on Applianceinsider.com on how to take the coupling off as recommended by KitchenAid themselves. The part can be found at 1800parts.com if you call them their reps are extremely knowledgeable and will be able to help you find the part in seconds. Or if you have the model number you can locate it right on their site.

In the base, when I put the food in the cup, and the blade cup in doesn't fit the base. it appears the the blade doesn't go down in the base. I need help, I don't know if the base

Lots of questions, not a lot of information. Is the rubber sealing washer in the wrong place. I have no idea what model/brand you have but on most blenders the rubber seal will go between the beaker and blade assembly, not the blade assembly and the collar.

Blender glass jar is leaking at base

It will either be the rubber gasket (it goes between the glass jar and the blade assy) or it could be a worn bearing/bush around the chopping blade shaft. Replace either the gasket or the blade assy.

I have been given a Kenwood BL300 blender. After using it to make breadcrumbs, I undid it somehow and now I can't get it back together. Can't remember if the blade goes straight into the base or the jug,...

You need to unfasten the white base from the clear jug, then the rotating blade will sit inside the white base, with the blade facing upwards. The white rubber flange goes in next. Then screw the assembled base back into the clear jug. The jug should then fit on to the stand.

My Cuisinart blender start leaking after a few months of use.

Here is a list of things to check for:
1. Make sure the blender base (black plastic) is tight to the jar.
2. Make sure you have installed the rubber washer between the blender blade assembly and the jar.
3. Make sure your rubber washer is free from any crud that may have accumulated and dried on. You may have to soak the washer and gently scrub with a scrubber sponge. If it's really cruddy you may have to repeat as necessary.
4. Make sure you have not caught any water (or other liquid) when filling it between the base and the jar. When you pour out the contents it will appear as if it is leaking.

Broken glass jug on kitchenaid blender model 5ksb2aer4

Look at the underside of the blade shaft. The metal wing nut on the end of the shaft secures the blade assembly to cream coloured plastic blade base. The wing nut also transmits the drive from the rubber coupling on your blender to the blade shaft. The wing nut has a LEFT HAND thread.
The left hand thread ensures the blade assembly does not unscrew during normal blender use.

Firstly disassemble the blender blade assembly. Place a folded tea towel over the blades and hold the blades firmly. If you do not use a tea towel you may cut yourself.

Grip the wing nut with your other hand and unscrew it CLOCKWISE.
Remove the wing nut. You can now remove the blade from the plastic base.

Put the blade assembly in the new jug and offer up the plastic base from under the jug so that the blade shaft protudes enough for you to install the wing nut.

Screw the wing nut ANTI-CLOCKWISE to secure the blades to the plastic base.

Do not over tighten the wing nut; you may have to replace your jug again at some point.

Kitchen Aid Blender - blade not rotating

You will definitely need to change the clutch blade i.e. the black rubber rotating bit. Chaging it on the base unit may be difficult, I would check with your local Kitcheaid repairer for spare parts and repair advice.

Also check the clutch blade on the jug itself.
