In the permanent press cycle only the spin cycle isn't spinning enough. Clothes are extremely wet must run another spin to get out the water.

From my understanding on permanent press your Frigidaire washer will not spin out enough water. This could be a possible issue with your control panel or sensor within the inside of your washer. You may want to review your drain tube to assure that it is not restricted or kinked. This could be a possible problem with your drain pump or timer. You may need to consult with a professional technician for a proper diagnosis and repair to be performed on your washer. Good luck. -Matt

The final cycle of any washing machine, including Whirlpool units, is the spin cycle. During this cycle, water is sucked out of the load, preparing the clothes for the dryer. If your spin cycle isn't working properly, your clothes will be extremely wet, which increases the length of the drying process. Troubleshoot, and repair this problem yourself to save money

Fill setting has to be adjusted and the belt is slipping on the spin cycle and not generating enough centrifugal force to get the water out.

The clothes are wet after spinning When the clothes are wet at the end of a cycle, check these: Motor coupler
To test the motor coupler, re-start the washer in its spin cycle. Let the machine run for a minute, and then open the lid and notice whether the tub is spinning:
If it's spinning when you lift the lid, the coupler is fine.
If it isn't spinning--and your machine was produced by Whirlpool®--you may have a broken coupler. Many Whirlpool-made washers use a small, relatively inexpensive device called a motor coupling. This plastic-and-rubber component is mounted to the shaft of the motor on one side, and to the transmission on the other. Over time, the coupler wears out and fails. When that happens, you need to replace it completely.
Spin cycle
If the washer doesn't reach its proper spin speed, the clothes may be too wet at the end of a cycle. Check to be sure the load is properly balanced and run a spin cycle again. If the clothes are still wet, you may have a worn or loose belt (Maytag®), a worn clutch (GE®/Hotpoint®), or a worn motor pulley or tub bearing. Replace the applicable component.
Alternatively, there could be clothes caught between the inner and outer tubs. Read the "It spins but won't pump" section of the "It won't drain" section. Also, there could be other things that cause friction on the drive train. Seek the assistance of a qualified appliance repair technician.
Siphoning
If the water that pumps from the machine goes right back into the machine after the spin cycle, it may be because your washer is siphoning the water from a laundry tub with a slow drain, back into the washer. Try to improve the draining of the laundry tub. (Is there something stuck in the drain?) Also, be sure the drain hose doesn't reach more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub. If it does, cut off the excess.
Water-inlet valve
Water-inlet valves eventually fail. One problem that may develop with a water-inlet valve is that it can no longer completely shut off when the electricity is turned off to it. Then, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub--you may notice that your washer has water in it when you haven't used it for a few days. To fix this, replace the valve.

Behind the washer is a plastic hose that enter the drain.Make sure that nothing is pinching it closed.You can also use drain cleaner in the drain but not in the machine.

What spin cycle are you using? Try a faster spin option. (The wrinkle release setting uses more water and a lower spin speed.)
Try putting fewer items in a load in the futute and make sure it isn't unbalanced. (One really heavy item could imbalance the load and shift the spin efficiency.) Redistribute the clothes and run a Drain/Spin cycle.
Make sure to use HE detergent (don't use more than the recommended amount of detergent).

The other issue to check is if the machine is draining properly. Check that the drain hose isn't clogged. Also check the voltage at the washer - low voltage will result in a slower spin cycle. To correct this, you probably will want to call an electrician.

Does the water run through the ENTIRE spin cycle? There is a period where the water will run during the spin; This is called, the "Final Rinse". But it usually only runs for about 10 seconds then stops.

Hi. this is a failed timer device. simply replacing the timer control module will eliminate these issues you are having.

what's the brand name and model number,all washers are different,most likely it's the motor humming or the pump is humming,could have something stuck in pump,if the water doesn't drain the washer won't spin,if you have a shop vac pull the drain hose out of stand pipe or sink,stick the shop vac hose onto the drain hose,get it down as low as you can and suck out the water and then see if it spins,if there's alot of water in the tub suck it out of the tub first then go to the drain hose,if it spins when water is out you know it's the pump but if you say water is still in tub i would have to say it is the pump,
