okay some ppl have been having the same problem with that device cause the PID number isn't the same
First find out what VID and PID Numbers you have
Step 1 go to device manager locate the "Linksys wireless G usb network adapter" (the name in quotes may be different for you but find your card which should have a similar name)
Step 2 right click on it and go to properties
Step 3 go to details tab
Step 4 either write the VID and PID numbers down or leave that window open to come back to later
Then you find the INF file and open in notepad (the one you downloaded 1xxx for vista)
Lastly in the INF file you locate the section under
;--------------------------------------------------
; Added support for Belkin and Linksys
;--------------------------------------------------
And place your VID and PID numbers in the appropriate spot
;--------------------------------------------------
; Added support for Belkin and Linksys
;--------------------------------------------------
;Belkin F5D7051
%F5D7051_DeviceDesc% = RNDIS, USBVID_1799&PID_7051
%F5D7051_DeviceDesc% = RNDIS, USBVID_050D&PID_7051
then save the file, re install the driver and restart your PC...
