It means the float at the base of the machine has been triggered. Open the back panel on the machine (turn off power and water tap first) then remove all screws and take metallic back off. Dry inside base with a towel and push down the float which is located in the corner. This will reset it. Keep an eye on it as it may mean you have a leak.

Usually means there is water in the base pan and the flood safety has been activated. If you tip the unit forward a touch you will most likely find that water is expelled from the bottom front. The machine should work but obviously the source of the leak has to be found. Check door gasket for tears etc, water valves and drain hoses.
