Psr s670 keyboard plays fine but when it is plugged into a mixer after a time the volume kicks in and out?

The issue you are experiencing could be related to a few different things. Here are some things to check:
  1. Check the cables: Make sure the cables you are using to connect your keyboard to the mixer are in good condition and securely plugged in. Sometimes a loose connection or a damaged cable can cause issues with the volume.
  2. Check the mixer: Make sure the mixer is set up correctly and the levels are adjusted properly. If the mixer is overloaded, it can cause issues with the volume.
  3. Check the keyboard settings: Make sure the keyboard is set up correctly and the levels are adjusted properly. Some keyboards have settings that can affect the volume output.
  4. Check for interference: Sometimes interference from other electronics or electrical sources can cause issues with the volume. Try moving your setup to a different location and see if that helps.
If none of these solutions work, it may be a hardware issue with either the keyboard or the mixer. In that case, it may be best to consult with a professional technician.

The Yamaha sustain pedal attached to my Yamaha YPT-300 used to work, but now does nothing. Factory reset failed. Any way to fix this, or tell if the problem is with the pedal or the piano itself?

It sounds like you are having an issue with the sustain pedal for your Yamaha YPT-300 keyboard not working properly. There are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the connection between the pedal and the keyboard to make sure that it is securely plugged in and not loose.
  2. Check the settings on the keyboard to make sure that the sustain pedal is properly configured and enabled.
  3. Try using a different sustain pedal to see if the problem is with the pedal itself or the keyboard.
  4. Check the manual of your keyboard, some models have a specific setting to turn on/off the sustain pedal and make sure it's not turned off.
  5. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it's possible that there is a problem with the keyboard's internal connections or a malfunctioning component. In this case, you may need to contact Yamaha's customer service for further assistance or consider getting it repaired by a professional technician.
It's important to note that troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment can be dangerous, especially if you're not familiar with the device, so it's best to contact a professional technician if you're not comfortable working with it.

Some keys wont work

Your keyboard has a factory defect. Return it to the store or manufacturer and let them give you a new one.
If you waited to long and your warranty has expired take it to a repair shop. There is nothing else you can do...

Some keys on the left side are not giving sound when played and the master volume is loosing can it be fixed or should i have to buy a new master volume

It's about hardwares.
Wiring connection sockets is loose.
Inside the korg PA50,Wiring connection to the keyboard is separate to left and right.
Open/disassemble your korg.
Look for connection cable to the left keyboard.
One end is on the keyboard, the other end is at the mainboard.
Unplug both of it, then mounted again.
For master volume, better buy new one.

Problem with casio CTK-691 keyboard

"can I do it my self or should I go to a professional to get it repaired"?
Get it repaired by a professional. Casio gives long warranty (5 years in Australia). Mine took weeks for Casio Service to repair. Many boards had to be changed.

My son has started learning piano using the CTK 651. The music teacher needs a metronome function in this keyboard. Is there a option for this here? How do i get to that.

Most of these keyboards have such a function... the manual doesn't show any... however one could select drum set 5 and use the claves setting for a rhythm and control the rate with the tempo. This might be too complicated and it might be simpler to get a small metronome... some are very inexpensive.
