Try cleaning your terminals at the battery, even if not corroded. In my years as an alarm/radio installer I have come across this problem constantly, especially on GM vehicles.
To troubleshoot the remote control problem, follow this step.
1. Check the battery (new if possible)
2. Get a ordinary radio then scan the radio to no signal frequency...just a buzz song will be okay.
3. Try to point your remote control in front of your radio, then press any keys (numbers or anything)
4. If you heard some sound to the radio while pressing the keys
4.a Your remote control is working fine.
5. If you did not heard anything while pressing the keys
5.a Your remote control is not working. You need to replace it or just buy a universal remote control (cheapest way to do).
Thanks. Hope this helps.
1st check pump is pumping out water/ next could be motor not running due to fault, not sure if brushes are in this motor if so check for wear, quite old so could be the motor gone...
you need to check for a bad conection at the battery cables. both ends Check the wires on the starter. clean the battery post. Give the battery a good charge you will be back on the road. hope this helps PS You can get the battery charged and tested free at auto-zone.
well this is what you should try ,,jump the car get it running then when its warmed up take the positive lead of the battery if the car stops the alternator is gone (thats what charges the battery) if the car runs its fine
and if u have put another new battery in it and the alternator is fine look for any broken wires earths or positives that could be making it drain so quick and make sure your battery levels are full hope this helps
