Just replaced dual-brightness U-Tube fluorescent bulb in our Coleman camp lantern that includes remote control and a little night light bulb. The bottom battery cover rotates counterclockwise about 1.5 inches and lifts out. The top clear plexiglass removal was more difficult. There is a single set-screw just beneath the bottom of the clear plastic in the green rim, opposite side from control knob, with Phillips head, that you remove. Then have someone hold the bottom half and you unscrew the top clear part a full 1/2 turn, then lift out. Clean the big threads both inside and out, set the top half in rotated with screw hole away from its original tight position by 1/2 turn, rotate it clockwise back into place so you can now thread in the set-screw. 11/20 good source of the bulb at a fair price:

A number of other sources sell the main bulb at outrageous prices... Regarding that night light... the yellow translucent cover is a tight fit. You need to slide it horizontally towards you by about 1/8" and then you can rotate the cover up at the front and slip it out from its tabs. Ours never worked... because that bulb was not screwed in fully. Works now fine.
