Wow, this is weird, I've just come back from the gym and the guys there were 'fixing' a crease on one side of the belt.

They had the belt off the treadmill, and put a wooden board on the inside, with some weight plates on them, a few wooden blocks on the inside, so the belt looked like it was the same height as when it is fitted and then a wooden board and weights on the top.

By the time I'd finished my session, they were refitting it and it looked good, you could still see a slight dent, but not a full crease.

Hope this helps you and good luck.

Proform 505 cst belt slipping left and has crease

It's alway a good idea to replace any belt that shows signs of damage as this is a weak point on the belt and you risk it snapping, then you'll have to replace it anyway.
Check the alignment of the pulleys the belt drives. Check they line up with each other and they spin without any wobble.
Belts for these machines are usually not expensive. I would recommend you buy an original one from the manufacturer as this will be the one designed specifically for that job.

We have an Ultima washing machine and creases the cloths very badly any suggestions please

The amount of creasing you will get is directly related to the speed you select for the final spin dry cycle and the spin after the first wash cycle which occurs prior to the rinse cycle. The higher the speed and the longer it goes for the more the clothes will crease.

Experiment with different spin speeds on your machine for clothing that is subject to the creasing problem. Also do not put too many items in the machine for a wash as many people do as this will contribute to creasing. Always under load your machine for every wash cycle.

Spin drying is a compromise between creasing and maximum water removal. If you want less creasing you will need to select a more gentle spin dry speed but you will also have the clothes coming out of the machine with a higher water content and they will take a bit longer to dry. The spin time on the program may also be shorter.

In my own machines I use a gentle wash and spin cycle for all clothing that I don't want heavily creased. Running it on a wash cycle with a high and longer spin speed when the machine is spinning the clothes after the initial wash, and then again after the final rinse, will thoroughly crease the clothes every time.

Also bear in mind that different fabrics that are suitable for machine washing will perform differently and some are just too subject to creasing even if you use the most gentle wash, rinse and spin cycle. Hence you can take 2 different 100% cotton fabrics out of a machine and hang them to dry and one will be almost crease free and the other will be thoroughly creased. With these fabrics that are just very subject to wash creasing, it is better to hand wash and rinse them. Then after rinsing drip dry them or put them in the machine and spin them for 1 -2 minutes maximum just to get some of the water out and hang dry them.

Serpentine belt

You should replace it, they get stretched, bruised or creased and after you run it one time, it is not new anymore.

Go To Iconservice.com Click on manual input Image then M# IMTL31504.
Check the end caps to see if one of them is cracked before adjusting the belt. The crease cannot be straighten and 9 of 10 times it can be a hazard when walking so if you proceed using it in this condition BE CAREFUL!!!

On my oki 5150 the printed paper develops a crease usally in the middle of the page. Usually about 4 inches long, with a small overlap that ends up in a crease ... it's starting to get sufficiently bad so...

If the paper under the crease has print and the fold is "glued down", it is most likely to be a problem with the fuser. Try removing it and look for evidence of warping in the pressure roller. If the fuser looks clean and tidy, go to the other end at check over the paper tray and paper feed mechanisim. It is possible the paper is catching on something at the start of the process. This is most likely if there is print over the crease but not under the fold.

When duplex printing I regularly get creased

Check the rollers for any mis-alignment. Try loosening them and re-aligning them again. It should'nt be too hard.

Crinkled ribbon

Try adjusting the head tension or ribbon tension.

Printed paper is creased

First thing to check is try it with a fresh unopened ream of quality paper, paper with too much moisture content, drys out and goes wavy when it runs threw the fuser roller at rear (180 deg), otherwise it will be the fuser rollers themselves causing your problem, which means that you need to replace fuser assy
