Check for a bad ignition fuse in the fuse block. Should be a red 10 amp. If bad, check all of the injector wires to see if one has been grounded.

first you have to measure the fuel pressure with a guage, pre start and cranking, it should stay approx thesame, next check for injector signal to the injectors , use a noid light,

SOURCE: 6.5 turbo diesel wont start

check the high pressure oil switch next to the glow plug controller. if the switch is bad you will not get any fuel to your injector pump. unplug the molex and jump it out. this will bypass the switch. if it runs, just buy another high pressure oil switch. good luck!

Our mountaineer is getting gas into the oil. What could possibly be the problem.

Fuel pressure regulator. or stuck open injector/s. The only way gas can reach the oil is threw the piston rings. Gas will seep threw them. regulators can dump a lot of fuel threw the plenum. An open injector will bleed off pressure(when turned off)) and dump gas right into the piston.

Car wont start

could be few different problems first u need to check for fuel pressure and spark
hook a fuel pressure gauge up and see if ur getting any fuel pressure if you have no fuel pressure u either have bad pump or out of gas (don't laugh i had cars come in shop for a no start that where just out gas)
if u have fuel pressure
then check for spark
take one spark plug wire of a spark plug and hold wire about 1/4 inch away from either the spark plug or engine block if u see a spark or hear one
if you have no spark your looking at a few different possibles Bad coil, ignition module, crank sensor, etc
if you have fuel pressure and spark but still no start u need to check for injector pluse (basically computer telling fuel injectors to open)
but now i think I'm getting over your head let me know if this helps and i try to walk u threw other things if this dont help

I replaced a fuel injector on my 95 Cavalier and now it wont run

Use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, 41--47 psi, key on engine off. Cycling the key on and off a few times before you crank it, should prime the system.
Check for fuel injector pulse, use a noid lite, engine cranking. The voltage for fuel injector probably goes hot with the key on. The computer grounds the fuel injector circuit. The diagram is for 2.2L engine. The pink wire for fuel injectors is voltage, the bottom wire is ground. We've talked about the fuel system, could be other issues?

1995 chevy silverado 350 TBI V8 standard powerloss

have you checked the filter, i know you state the fuel lines are clear though. likely fuel injectors have lost flow. the TBI injectors can be cleaned, but i usually just replace them. but check them using a timing light hooked to the coil wire for timing of each injector spray. the pattern under the light should be even and conical shape, no major spatter. if one shows low volume, the other one should be replaced at same time, it will save you having to change it when you put brand new next to old one a have same problem again. only replace with brand new, i've had 7 bad remanufactured injectors on one truck at one point in time, only replace with new!

95 Chevy Silverado Z71 fuel injection problem

You could have a bad engine coolant sensor giving the ECM a bad temp reading. It is located in the front part of the manifold.

Wont start it turns over with full power,, i put new coil, new cap an rotor

Do you have spark? If you do sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Check fuse for fuel pump, you are in a later year and should have an electric fuel pump. If you are getting fuel to the injectors at correct pressure you may need new injectors.

Try starting with starter fluid if it catches that will secure that it is a fuel delivery issue. If it doesnt you probably dont have spark and most likely be an ignition module.
