Same here. All bulbs in fridge and freezer stopped working. Tested fridge door/light switch for continuity. Tested OK. Low voltages are on switch legs for this switch, not `120v like would take to operate the lights. Switches must be input to a control board or drive a relay that is stuck OFF. Can't find such parts in the parts list for this model.

SOURCE: Amana French Door Refrigerator "on" but no cooling; freezer still works

There are 2 possible problems. One is the defrost cycle is not working properly this is usually indicated by a large amount of frost on the back freezer panel. If so, the circuit will have to be repaired and the evaperator thawed to remove the ice build up. The other is the fresh food damper is not working properly this is behind the "lump" in the back of the fridge compartment above the top shelf, remove the louver panel to see if it is open or closed. closed will be warm open should be cold. The water dispenser reservoir is probably frozen due to poor air circulation.

the middle insulation hasbecome water logged, forma faulty defrost tube, so, every time trhe unit defrost, 2 maybe 3 times a day it will spill water inti the vents, andin to the refrig, the only correct way to fix is to have the enitre center drain block replaced, part not that expensive but labor to install may be, ohter then nussincence, not really affecting machines workings

SOURCE: have an amana refrigerator model BC121VW bottem freezer

In the back of the refrigerator, there should be a vent. Put your hand over it and see if air is coming out. This will tell you if the fan the other poster mentioned is working. If no air is moving then either the fan is bad or the channel is plugged. If only a small amount of air is moving through, open the freezer door and check the air flow again. If the flow got much better, then the return channel is plugged. Try these steps, and if they help post back and I will tell you what to do next.

The lights stopped working in the refrigerator. I thought both bulbs had blown and replaced them. Still no lights. Is there a fuse to replace? Not sure what's going on.

Check lights connection with thermostat for correct connection. if there is a short or arching then you will keep replacing these bulbs.

The problem has to be in the damper control inside the refrigerator section.

Disconnect the refrigerator from power and remove the food from the top shelf. The damper control is in the box near the top of the refrigerator section behind the temperature control knob.

Remove the knob and cover until you can access the damper control. You can prop the damper control open with a pencil or something to make the refrigerator work until you get a part if you need to. Here is the part you need.

there's a light or door switch that could be bad, look around and you'll see a switch that the door hits to turn the lights on and off,i've seen people put the bulbs in cross threaded i remove the bulb thread it in and it works try removing the bulb and put it back in again, also if you unplug the machine and stick your finger into the socket there's a metal tab in there that touches the bulb if that is pushed in to far it won't touch the bulb to work bend that out a little and try it again, all there is is the bulb the socket and the switch and the switches are pretty reliable, they're located on the side or up top where the door closes in on the machine
