We have a Bosch Axxis WTA 3510 electric dryer. The check lint filter light is coming on very often and the clothes aren't drying properly. Lint filter is clear. Checked the exhaust vent outside and the connecting hose. All clear. Cleaned the paddles in the dryer and the little sensor just inside the door with white vinegar. Continues to not dry completely. Seems if the dryer cools down completely and we reset, it might dry. What's Up ????? Thanks,

Had the same problem, none of the fixes worked. Ended up taking the heater element out of the back, it was full of lint. That was the problem.

I had the lint alarm problem for a very long time. I replaced the gasket, bought a ner lint filter, cleaned the paddles..... nothing helped. Then I took a flashlight and looked at the back wall inside the dryer. There was a very little bit of lint in some of the holes, so I took some tweezers and extracted about half a thimble full of lint. The dryer has worked like a charm ever since.

Lint filter light goes on; vent unattached so no blockage and lint screen is clean. Thermostat? Temperature regulator? Model 3510 - about 6 plus years old

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with the first thing you should do is to remove the lint filter and clean the lint out of inside where the lint screen goes, I mean if you have not done this already. After this unplug the unit for 5-10 minutes and then push & hold the start/pause button for 10-15 seconds and reconnect the unit. If still it won’t work then it’s the Thermal fuse that has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

The dryer will not produce heat and blowing lint

check where your dryer vent goes through your outside wall they sometimes clog up with lint and cause the escaping heat to recirculate back to your dryer causing the sensor to read the dryer as too hot clear all lint from the outside vent so you can feel the air coming out very steadily and quickly If this works you are all set otherwise check your heating element

i would check the actual electrical connections, to both the unit, and the downline connections to that actual element itself, its unusual for an elemnt to only go a lilttle bit... it works or it doesn't...
since you seemed to be very knowlegable, ohm
out the element as well as your plug and outlet
ther emay be a loose connection somewhere

Lint filter light comes on and smells like smoke from inside the dryer. No lint in lint filter

You need to vacuum the lint from the entire vent system from the door to the outside vent. Wash the lint screen in hot water and detergent to remove fabric softener sheet residue which plugs the screen.

Bosch Axxis Starts and stops

The lint light keeps coming on and shuts the dryer off so clothes are not dry. I checked the filter and it is clear. Now the bottom of filter is cracked (plastic part) so I need to replace. But why does the lint light come on now after 5 years of use? It never came on before even when the lint filter was full?

Bosch Dryer misfunction

Check the fuse. This is a German unit, so every part including the light bulb is 208/240 volts. If the fuse for the dryer on the back is open the unit will not start.
