Mcdevito75 here, 1 of the buttons should say MODE, press this button and see the display blinking, NOW! press the set button for each function, after each function is set press MODE to move onto the next function, when all functions are set, press MODE again to see steady display.
If you have already spent hours across several days trying to reset your Casio Wave Ceptor, try this procedure. Use a claw hammer or similar tool to smash it to bits; toss it in the trash can. You can use the manual to manually reset the time. After you succeed in setting UK time zone, wait until midgnigth: it should synchronize itself with the time signal from Germany. If unsuccessful to do so, it will keep attempting to synchronize itself at 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Read the manual to figure out how to place the watch on a window sill. It might be better to be outside.
Keep in mind that the success of the operation depends on meteorological conditions.
