Lawnmower stalls. My electric black and decker lawnmower stalls out, slowly spinning to a stop. It started last year (it's just over 2 years old) and began only when it was getting clogged. It progressed to happen much more frequently. It now happens every 2 minutes. It restarts after a couple of minutes, often after I jiggle the srtart handle.

You were NO help at all. I asked for a location to have an electric lawnmower repaired in my area. You gave me a source 2500 miles away. Obviously I cannot count on assistance through this site. What happened to REAL PEOPLE who can offer some intelligent reply? If I could repair a lawnmower, why would I need to ask you?
I was having a similar problem. I tried starting it up with the switch case open. I saw a very tiny puff of smoke come out of the switch. I replaced the switch and it was fine.
I have a Black and Decker Electric mower #M2370, which I would like to use this year before moving to a condo. Last year, the mower was stopping and starting depending on how the lever was positioned. I suspected the wiring so I removed the on-off switch lever. The wiring appears intact. Part of plastic inside the lever maybe broken. Can i use the mower without the lever by just pushing the black button?
