DISCONNECT POWER FROM ENTIRE UNIT . THERE SHOULD BE A SET OF CONTACTS THAT FEED THE HEATERS THEY MAY BE STUCK OF FUSED TOGEATHER WHEN YOU FIND THE CONTACTS THE FUSES SHOULSD BE CLOSE BY

i just got it turned back on what i did i got an 8gb i dont think it will make a difference tho but all i did was push the power button up very fast like a flick and it turned on maybe ty it a few times and it will start hope i helped
it sounds like you need to get a new battery. Your current battery might be strong enough to light the screen but not strong enough to launch the song. Thats only thing i can think of. Hope this helps! :-) please tell me if it does!
