Gas dryer yellow stains

I currently have a GE Profile gas dryer - about 1 year old now. Prior to that I had a Maytag gas dryer. Both leave orange to bright yellow stains on clothes, almost like a liquid dripped on the clothes. Didn't have any foreign objects in the load. This seems to happen randomly. Would love to know the cause. Thanks

Are you using fabric softener? Sometimes excessive ammounts will cause issues in gas dryers because of the faster heat cycles. If so try using about half as much as you currently are.

If you hear the blower ramp up when you start the dryer and it slowly ramps down or quits all together then you need to replace the blower.

If the squeaking has been going on for only a short time, you may be able to get by with only replacing the rear drum bearing, but if it has been going on for some time you should replace the drum bearing kit part # WE25M40. Also be sure to check that the front drum slides are ok, especially the one on the left side of the front drum support, as this one wears out faster. Drum slides #
WE1M481 and
WE1M333 and if front support frame is worn so that there is nothing left to hook the slides into you would need a
WE3M26.

SOURCE: GE gas dryer gets hot but doesn't dry clothes like it used to

rule number one take everything off of it and never store clothes or anything that can insulate the top it overheats them. It kind of fools all your sensors when you store stuff on top

you need to inspect the ignitor/glow coil that ignites the gas in the burner tube as they are very fragile, then on the burner tube body check the radint sensor eye it can be dirty, clean it first or then replace it,the gas valve boost and secondary coils on the gas valve could have been damaged and they keep the gas valve open to supply gas to the burner, then also check the thermal fuse on the vent blower housing as water could have ruined this component, also check all wire connections for water corrosion too

GE Profile gas range - stove works, oven doesn't heat

Set the oven for bake. Wait a couple minutes and look in the oven. If you see a orange glow the ignitor is working, but, may need to be replaced.
If you see no orange glow the ignitor definitely needs to be replaced.
