Did you check the top surface of the deck for a diagram? I know that my lawn tractor has a sticker on the top surface of the deck with the belt installation diagram on it.

I don't have a deck diagram but you should be able to figure it out it you put the back part of the belt (flat) up against the pulleys that are wide and the narrow part (v) into the smaller pulleys. It might take a couple of times but it is not that hard to figure out. Also put the (flat) side of the belt on any tension idlers. Hope this works.

Just a quick note here. Look under the left,sometimes under the right foot rest,for belt installation. Usually for the mower deck,its on the deck itself. Most i have seen was a decal. The owner,s manual has the belt installation guide,also. B. Locke

Cub Cadet 1525 belt diagram
