My rca L32HD31 tv stopped working suddenly no sound no picture just A yellow light on I took it to repair center said it was the converter and can"t get part I am A recovering cancer patient hardly watched that tv I live alone don't drive so I told repair guy to junk tv I want to know what can rca do to give me my money back or replace tv . I am on A disability can"t afford another tv please help thank you god bless

With no sound and no picture it would not be the INVERTER, (no such part as "converter") You have a main board problem and it would cost around $300 to fix. These flat panel sets only last about 2 years, as much as they cost! You need to get a older type CRT television, pawn shops, tv shops, and yard sales have these, they are made much better than these newer sets and last 10 to 15 years or more. They also can be cheaply repaired when they breakdown.
