SOURCE: best way to change hydraulic oil in zero turn

I don't understand why you want to change, it is a closed system, so no contamination can get in. Anyway, there should be a small tank somewhere where the hydraulic oil is checked. You can siphon the oil out of there with a oil suction gun or turkey baster, and replace it with new fresh oil.
Do you have a reason why you think the oil is contaminated or has been overheated? It is quite a rugged oil meant to stand up to brutal environmental conditions like continuous use in high heat, and in plow trucks operating in extreme cold with continuous duty.

SOURCE: TORO Z5000 zero turn mower. right side

it should hold hydralic fluid there should be a resirvour somewhere on the back along with the pump you should be able to check the level there and if you don't get the leak stopped it will lock up the whole drive system.

What kind of hydraulic oil does a Woods 6200 zero turn mower, kohler engine take

10w30... And I use ONLY Kohler 10w30 in my customers Kohler engines.

Now the hydraulic system in the Woods mower most likely uses a 20w50 MOTOR OIL but it's been about 5 years since I have even seen a Woods unit. www.woodsequipment.com

What kind of hydraulic oil for woods 6200 zero turn mower?

There should be a label on the mower that lists the recommended hydraulic oil to use. I could not find the exact oil type for your model, but the label should be on the back of the mower.

If you are unable to locate the label, contact Woods support here:

White Horse Zero Radius 54" deck. Transmission stopped working while cutting the lawn. No response on levers. PTO and deck work fine. Just won't move...

check that the drive pulley to the hydraulic unit is still fixed to he shaft and has not got loose and just turning but not driving the pump shaft. Other than that you may have to check out the pump pressure of the drive unit.

We need a photo of how the hydraulic belt goes on our mower. We lost our manual.

It should be fairly simple,if you remember always put the V of the belt into V pulleys and the back of the belt on flat or idler pulleys. Its fairly easy to figure out. I didn't find a diagram of the belt system that runs the hydraulic pump. I hope this helps some.
