The screen on my coldwater feed keeps rusting up

I'm having the screen on my coldwater connection keep clogging up. It seems to be filled with small rust particles. It takes hours to fill washer with cold water... I've cleaned it out 2x but it's a real pain.

Can I just poke a hole through it and scrape it out?

This hasn't happened on the hot water connectiong\

No, don't poke it through. It will clog elsewhere. Clean the intake screen completely. Buy a $3.00 in hose screened washer. Put it in the hose end connected to your taps. The reason cold clogs and not hot is that the rust settles in the bottom of the hot water tank and doesn't get pushed thru the lines. The cold water is a direct feed. Clean the newly installed screen monthly as your supply taps are way more convenient than the connections to the water inlet vavle at the back of the machine.

Samsung vrtplus wont fill with water after move

1st thought is a kinked or pinched hose?
Is this true for both cold AND hot water?

MANY washer hoses have a small wire "screen mesh" inside. Check yours to assure it's not rusted or clogged!

Gas tank is always refusing to take gas.

Its a vapor lock....you have to fill it up and it will go away or I've seen people drive in circles at the gas station trying to get it to release.

I bought a top load washing machine model number WF T7239 UL on 05Nov2010. Water sensor does not seem to work. Water just keeps filling up the drum and starts overflowing once filled.

Your pressure switch stops the water and allows it to start the next cycle. It's a switch either in the control panel or at the top of the tub with a small tube connected to it which goes down between the inner and outer tub. As the water level increases the air in the tube is compressed until there is enough pressure to make the switch stopping the water from filling. This tube can get clogged and the switch won't work. Remove the tube and clean it out. Blowing on the tube when it's still connected to the switch will make the switch if it's working and clear.

If it fills with water and starts the cycle and the water keeps running in then your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is sticking. It needs replacing.

Washer just hums when time for the water

Check the water water supply at the water inlet valve. Remove the supply hoses and check that the small screens in the inlet valve are not clogged with rust or debris. The water inlet valve solenoids can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty solenoid and the water inlet valve will need to be replaced. I am attaching a photo for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Wont stop filling

If when you press pause while filling and it keeps filling then you have a faulty valve. If the filling stops then valve is ok.
If you filling keeps going until overfilling the machine which is what i understand is your problem, then most likely that you have a small pinhole in your pressure tube.
