    none of these work if you have a touch screen an no buttons...wish I could find an answer for that

With the machine off hold down 0 + 8 buttons and turn m/c on while holding them down.

Enter 263 on keypad and press start [green button]

enter your desire password (less than10 digits).Default password is [123456]

To print out your admin password go into service mode 08 263 then log onto machine using the web browser log on and change

default password is 12345 for toshibas...go into user functions, administration...
everything is there...

And I cannot find anywhere in the service manual where it specifies how to read it...

  1. Turn off the power switch.
  2. Hold then Press "0 & 8" while turning it on.
  3. You Will Be in Test Mode Then, then press the "263" and "start" button.
  4. You will see your DEFAULT PASSWORD 123456 on the screen, clear the old password and enter the new password and press the "Start" key.
  5. Then switch off the machine and turn it back on the power socket. You can see reset your password.

The default password is either 12345 or 123456.
If neither of those work then, turn machine off then power on while pressing the 0 & 8 keys then enter 263, then press Start. It will then display the Admin Password.

If you download the iso for trinity rescue disc here

burn that to a cd and boot your laptop up with that you should be able to reset the password with that - short of that use a bart pe disc ( google this ) to recover your data and then re install the operating system
