Unplug everything and wait for a few minutes. It may very well also be that your TV has lost it's picture and needs repaired. Not because of anything you did. Just coincidental to you thinking you pressed the wrong button on your remote.

Hi, I'm using the Samsung HT-E330K. It works but does not speak out. The power display is fine but no sound

If your Samsung HT-E330K home theater system is not producing any sound even though the power display seems to be working fine, there are several potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. **Check Volume Levels:** Make sure the volume on the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable) is turned up and not muted.
2. **Check Audio Source:** Verify that the correct audio source is selected on the home theater system. If you're using multiple input sources (DVD, TV, AUX, etc.), make sure the right input source is selected.
3. **Audio Cables:** Ensure that all audio cables are securely connected to both the home theater system and the audio source (TV, DVD player, etc.). Sometimes, loose or faulty cables can result in no sound.
4. **Speaker Connections:** Check that all speakers are properly connected to the home theater system and that the speaker wires are securely inserted into the appropriate terminals.
5. **Audio Settings:** Go through the audio settings on both the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable). Ensure that the correct audio output settings are configured.
6. **Mute Function:** Double-check that the mute function on the remote control or the home theater system itself is not engaged.
7. **Speaker Balance:** Check the speaker balance settings to ensure that sound is not unintentionally directed to one side or speaker.
8. **Reset to Default Settings:** If you've made any changes to the settings recently, consider performing a factory reset to revert to the default settings.
9. **Firmware Update:** If there is a firmware update available for your home theater system, consider updating the firmware as it might resolve any software-related issues.
10. **Test with Different Source:** Test the home theater system with different audio sources to rule out issues with a particular device.
11. **Test Speakers:** If possible, disconnect each speaker one at a time and test the audio to identify if a particular speaker or speaker wire is causing the issue.
12. **Check Speaker Impedance:** Ensure that the speakers' impedance matches the specifications of the home theater system. Mismatched impedance can affect sound quality.
13. **Contact Support:** If you've tried these steps and still have no sound, consider contacting Samsung customer support or seeking assistance from a professional technician for further troubleshooting and repair.
Remember to refer to your device's user manual for specific instructions related to your model.

Why doesn't the ARC TV sound work through the HDMI cable? Is it because the KDL-52XBR7 only has the Bravia Sync and no ARC support?

Not all Hdmi cables have same capabilities. Check out:

My LG LHT764 will play DVD's but that's it. I can't change functions or get any sound out of any of the speakers that cam with it.

Double check the speaker wire connections. Also, change the batteries in the remote. Sounds like a connection problem.

I have the bd230 5.1 system hooked up the speakers, attached the power cord and hdmi cable from receiver to the tv what else do I need to get sound from my tv I have a hd cable.box do I need to run a cable...

The home theater box performs the production of the sound generation. Also, the theater box, distributes the sound to any display devices like TVs, Music MIxers, DVDR, VCRs, ext. The theater box also has connection ports that are recognisable as receptacle area from speakers, woofers, and twitters that combined to form the home theater of devices acquired. First, start by connecting the component parts of the theater system to the box. For example, speakers to an area on the box, twitters, woofers. At which point, the box would require a power cable to an electrican circuit to display functionality mode. The next step is deciding on which display reciver would be providing sound to the theater setup of blasters. For example, choosing to acquire sound from a TV set is achieved by connection cables that derived sound out of the TV to the theater box. E.G. The TV audio output area provides the connectivity of any external audio blasters like with the theater setup. Using the appropiate audio input output connection cables to acquire sound transfer matters. The device may not have been provided with a TV audio input out cable of connections. Acquire from retail input output cables from TV to theater boxes. Remember that, the theater box may have come with a remote control that require separe operations than the TV. The theater system theraafter would require power on buttons if any separate remote controls were acquired as well. Also, the television set would require alteration settings with the remote control. Adjusting the TV sound settings to acquire or direct internal sound to an external setup infrusture is possible explanation also achievable with TV REMOte controller soon after every wireing cables have been established alos powered on to source of current. Only the subwoofer, front right, and front left speakers work. Is there a setting that I can adjust to turn the other 3 speakers on? Only 3 of the 6 speakers show up on the display.

When you do a speaker test it should show all speakers, if not then im not sure, but to hear sound from all speakers try pressing mode on remote and change setting to Matrix. Hope this helps.

I keep getting the 'rear check' message on the tower panel display and all cables are connected what could this be this is on my new HT-TXQ120 DVD HOME THEATER SYSTEM

With the home theater system off, press and hold the REMAIN button on the home theater's remote control for 5 seconds.
Note: You can release the REMAIN button when the POWER LED blinks blue.

With the wireless module turned on, use a ball point pen to press the RESET button on the back of the wireless module. The POWER LED in the front of the home theater blinks two times.

Turn on the home theater. The LINK LED on the front of the SWA-3000 changes from red to blue, indicating the wireless module has connected to the home theater.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.
