I have a GE model #WBVH5100HWW front loading washing machine. There is a rip/hole in the rubber lining around the inside which is allowing water to leak out of the washer. Can this rubber lining or seal be replaced?

Any air in the water lines will go on through if everything is working as it should.
Have your pipes froze recently? If so, check the screens in the fittings on the back of the machine where the hoses attach, they may be plugged with minerals. If so, purge the line well into a bucket before hooking it back up.
do you mean from the bottom of door? if so open door and run your fingers around the rubber gasket to see if there is any forign matter or rips, and check the small drain hole on the inside bottom of gasket, if there is a tear you could repair with a bicycle innertube repair patch
Check the big rubber seal around the door for any holes or tears. Had the same problem, my husband had a screw in his pocket that torn a hole in the gasket.
take out soap box first and clean,i would say that water valve coil is probably blown though, should read around 3kilohm resitance checked when unplugged hope this helps
Yeah, that's a common complaint on FL washers. I experienced it first hand myself! (I have a Whirlpool FL washer). I use this in mine about once a month and it's worked well for me. I don't have to order it, though. I pick mine up at my appliance parts place. If you have one nearby, I'd check there first.
If you have not done it already, replace the lint filter. Follow instructions on manual. The lint filter access should be on front side of machine.
Other users had same problem on this model, I quote: "I've only had it 2 weeks so far. It seems to be collecting lint/fluff all around the rubber door lining" Source here.
Sometimes there may be too much lint if you use excessive softener and detergent.
I had to have repairman out. He said it had a filter in front panel that needed to be cleaned. It was full of hard white stuff, like caliche dirt. He noticed I use Arm & Hammer Detergent and he said that was good, but don't use HE detergents because when they mix with city water, it causes an odor in washer. Thanks- Beth
