I just installed a new faucet. after the first few uses the sprayer hose began to make a thumping sound when water is turned on. I looked under the sink and the thumping is causing the sprayer hose bounce up and down during each thump. when I squeeze the handle on the sprayer assembley it stops and the water flows fine and the thumping sound stops, when I realease the sprayer handle the thumping comes back.
Hello, you may have a air pocket in the line try shutting of the water supply and then sqeeze the handle and slowly turn the water supply back on with the hose handle squeezed on till the air is forced out, hope this helps
I'm going to check the sprayer connection to the faucet. It's a snap quick connect. I tried what you said. And, also tried the same thing with the faucet itself on both hot and cold, by shutting off the supply from under the sink. I'm still getting a thump in sprayer and the faucet, when I turn on the water at the handle. But, it's as if the sprayer hose is filling up, then pop, as I turn on just the faucet. Any thoughts?
