Sounds like a dead or shorted cell battery. Charging system is probably working but is showing overcharge since it is trying to charge a brick. Replace the battery and all should be well.

First I would look for voltage drop of both end of battery terminal.not a look or seem tight . you have to do it (voltage drop) and terminal at alternator. now does alternator charging. take voltage of battery if the problem occur have voltage of battery taken like I read your problem it looks like wiring terminal ground and positive the noise you hear is probably low voltage to a relay and the dropping voltage make the relay switch inside relay cycling noise click or buzz
Did you check voltage on the battery, and did you leave it running at a high idle? (low idle can consume battery voltage instead of charging it. On many tractors the lights do not run unless the motor is running so don't let that throw you off. Things to check Make sure no fuses popped. Makes sure you have gas Try jumping it to see if it starts If not, it sounds like you may have a short, or may have a safety switch that is acting up. look for loose, broken, damaged wires. Check to see if any wires are hot when the battery is fully charged. Try that and repost what you do or don't find.
not sure what you said but. seems the battery is discharging,? 12.6v is fully charged, own a voltmeter? try a good loaned battery , does it start the car,? i think you meant? i can jumper cable start my car at any time. (off another running car) but after running my car, the battery discharges and it will not crank at all. right? this means ,the charging system on your car is bad. if the starter cranks great, then the engine is flooded or is in great need of a tune up (sparkplugs etc) if flooded try the super secret in the op guide, crank with throttle wide open , this magic trick cuts all fuel injection allowing the flooding to purge away, and eventual starting. my guess 2 is the car wont start, so you crank the battery flat you jumper start it and it runs. (luck) then day 2, same deal cranks ok but wont start.. ever tune up the engine?
Battery might seem fine on a routine check, but the crancking amp power is not there anymore, seems that your alternator is not charging it anymore, have the alternator checked and replaced if needed, the battery might need replacing too.
It sounds like the engine is running on battery power only. The engine of today`s technology needs the alternator to have enough ignition to run on,lights and computer, etc, will be affected by low voltage, and amps. The alternator is not charging, look for a charging fuse to see if it is blown. If the fuse is fine, replace the alternator, and have the battery recharged on a slow 2 amp charge so it will recover it`s loss of deep cycle amps. This will prolong battery life and alternator. If I can help let me know.Let me know the out come.
yes the alternator has failed or the wiring to it, this caused a low voltage condition that caused the engine to stop once it went below about 10 volts.
YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE SOLENOID IT IS SHORTING OUT AS TO THE GAUGE THEY WILL NEVER MOVE AS THE GENERATOR CHARGES ONLY WHEN THE BATTERY HITS 9 VOLTS THEN IT ACTIVATES TO CHARGE BACK TO 12 VOLTS BUT IN SMALL INCREMENTS
Sounds like you have a very weak battery. It would be beneficial to charge the battery for some time before trying to jump it. You could also take the battery to a Auto Parts store and have them check it. If it is bad, then bring a new one home, and try it then.
If your battery is too weak, sometimes you cannot jump the car.
Let me know how what you figure out, and I can provide further help.
Engine will not start. Oil level ok jumped the battery
