Starting problems with 2-cycle engines are usually traced to fuel line/filter clogging due to jelling of the fuel mixture while the engine is idle. Best fix is fuel mix pretreatment with some kind of gas saver in the gas can. Marine grade additives are the best, such as 2+4 gas treatment. Now your stuck with pulling the fuel lines and blowing them clean. If the carb has a primer bulb, you can sometimes force the fuel through, but a complete cleaning is in order. Pulling the plug and putting a few drops of fuel mix directly into the cylinder head, (or in the air intake), can sometimes get the motor to fire. This proofs the problem as being fuel starvation.

My 2 yr. old Poulan Pro BVM200FE blower won't start. It will turn over a few times after 3-4 pulls then nothing.

replace the spark plug, make sure the air filter is clean, make sure it has fresh fuel. if it still wont start. give a shot of carburetor cleaner straight in the carburetor it should start and run for a few seconds. if it does. the carburetor needs to be cleaned. hope this fixes your problem, good luck

Won't start

This engine may well have seized, remove the muffler and check the condition of the piston skirt through the open exhaust port, any signs of scuffing and the machine will have to come apart to assess the damage.

My poulan pro leafblower won't start, feels like there's no compression

Check that the spark plug is snug. If that is not it, then you should check the tightness of the head bolts. Sometimes they loosen. After that it could be a blown head gasket or a stuck valve.

Need to replace both fuel lines on My BVM200 LE leaf blower, 1 large and 1 small fuel line, can You tell what size they are??

On your blower, it looks like the small line supplies fuel to the carburator which will be connected to the fuel filter in the tank, and the large line looks like the fuel return line.

I have a poulan pro bvm200 leaf blower, was running and then it stopped and have not been able to start it. I took all the parts off and all are clean. Throttle is clean, push button for fuel is working....

the bvm 200 model has a 25cc piston and ring the rings are infamous for getting clogged and baked into theyre seat, this creates a compwesion problem and it will not start, gets fuel spark but without compresion it'll just not run or start,if careful you can remove the piston soak it with ring atached in carb cleaner and get it springy again or replace the ring with a new one it has a 1.353 (34.38)mm bore and a ring thikness of .061 hope this helps
