My pen drive is in RAW file system, I ca'nt open or format it.

My pen drive is not opening or formatting, not from my computer or disk management.Its curently having the RAW file system, don't know how to make it better.. please ,please,please help

Try to get a software called parted magic. its linux based and you should easily format the pen drive.
U can also try HP USB Disk Format Tool.

Hello, friend! After experiencing similar RAW file system external hard disk data loss troubles, I know the RAW file system drive often cannot be immediately formatted to restore its file system from RAW to NTFS. Otherwise, you may lose something original permanently. Therefore, stop writing anything fresh on this RAW format flash drive and go recover lost data from RAW flash drive with RAW format drive data recovery software. And then, back up all rescued data on another safe drive or location well.
And, at last, format this RAW file system flash drive to see whether it is still workable or not.
Learn to be careful about crucial drive data and make drive data backups well in the future.

Try to format it using the method describe below:
May be it will help
Go Start>Setting>Control Panel>
Or Start>Control Panel>
Then open> Administrative Tools>Computer Management>
Then select In the left Column Click disk management
Then locate your pen drive and try to format with fat file system
Also you can try to remove the partition and create new one
ok...

You can try to format the mp3 player.
Go through: Setting>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk management>
Try to format it with fat files system.

Formatting the pendrive
Plug it into another usb socket and you should find it works, Sometimes usb sockets and drives can become corrup.. by right when you reboot you machine it will revert back to normal

Try formatting the drive. Assuming Windows XP, just open your "my computer" icon, right-click on the device and choose format. Be aware, formatting will remove any data you may have had on there previously.

first insert your pendrive.Now right click on my computer.Go to manage option . select disk management. From that you must select your drive letter for your pen drive.Go to Action menu near to File menu.Fromthat select all tasks and select formatting.Then again goto all tasks and select change drive letter and paths.select the drive letter and your problem is solved. thanks for asking your problem.
