My canon pixma mp470 is not printing certain things: border lines in a word doc basic text in aol email (but it prints hyperlink and email addresses within the same email. Could this be a corrupt driver?

I think your text document didn't fit the page. I have done that before. It overruns and the extra becomes the lines inbetween. To fix this use microsoft publisher to print it so that you can choose the paper size and the borders and fit the document within the space allowed.
you have a carriage error thats what the error code refers to.
can depends on a lot things but usally not worth fixing if its done lots of prints

Basically you lift the top lid and the ink cartridges will move into place to be removed.then press down gently the lift up to remove the catridge when replacing do the reversal of removal.hope this helps?
