I just got an iphone and i am trying to get my music from itunes on to my iphone. But the iphone will not show up on my itunes to sync. I have downloaded newest version of itunes - done everything that apple says to do on the website with no luck. Any body have any ideas as to what is up? I am lost and very frustrated
Keep iTunes on side and use syncios to copy all ur files from phone to laptop and laptop to phone. But dnt delete itunes keep it to connect iphone
Or the lightning hole on the bottom of the phone is filled with dust, no letting the plug end of cord, go all ghe way into the receptacle (us a toothpick).
You can also clean the lightning end connector.
You can also squeeze the pc end of the usb plug a bit, to make a better connection
A good sign is when you plug the lead into pc or charger, the battery starts charging.
Also if you bought a new phone pretector cover, make sure the cover isn't a bit over the charge port of the phone, as it wont let the cord go all the way in
How to Fix iTunes Not Recognizing iPhone in Windows 10
Before You Begin:
Step 1. Connect your iPhone to computer and wait for some time until the device is recognised.
Step 2. Right-click "Computer", Go to "Device Manager". Then expand category "Universal Serial Bus controllers" and locate "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver".
Step 3. Right-click "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" and click "Update Driver Software". On the pop-out window, choose "Browse my computer for driver software".
Step 4. Then choose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
Step 5. Click "Have Disk..." button.
Step 6. Click "Browse".
Step 7. Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers". Then double-click the usbaapl file. If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, this file will be called usbaapl64.
If you don't see usbaapl64 here or if there isn't a Drivers folder, look in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers".
Then you need to install the driver for your Windows 10. After installing, unplug your iPhone, then reconnect it using USB cable. Open your iTunes and see if your iPhone can be detected or recognized by iTunes.
