No sound

Alsoensure and verify that the msacm32.drv driver file is existing inC:\Windows\System32 folder. If the file is missing in that location, search forother copy of msacm32.drv in the computer, or copy that file from anothersystem. themsacm32.drv on my drive but it wasn't to be found so i copied it from anothercomputer and pasted it into my system 32 folder and oh man!instantaneously....I heard that windows sound... clidked over to youtube andbingo bango.. oh yeah baby! FOR YOUR LISTENING ENJOYMENT....THIS WORKS! Solution: 1.Forget about all browsers and dont waste time.. :) 2.Insatll Microsof Outlook Express 2002 (or install microsoft office it comeswith it) Inoutlook express open and and you will see builtin browser, where u can browseras good as any conventional browser. 3.open your youtube files, playlists, or any sound or videos from any website.. 4.Enjoy your music. 5.Please post if it works and forward it to everyone who having the same problem 5..Successs!!!!!!!! Ihad the same problem, but it ended up being a virus I removed and then itchanged the permissions in the registry for: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion \Drivers32 Downloadreginout cleaner to clean this easy way Itook off all of the restrictions (right-click > permissions), restarted, andit worked like a champ!

No soud on video you tube

Copy everything under the dotted line
Paste into a text file. rename the file fix.reg. Double click on the reg file after it is done you need to reboot pc and it should allow for audio on flash again. The reason is that registry keys seem to get messed up sometimes and stuff gets lost. This is a sure fire way to fix it

I don't have the right sound driver in my Windows 98. I apparently deleted it a while ago. I have sound which I downloaded, but it's not right. Voices don't sound right. Music doesn't sound right. Is there...

Try device genius for a very comprehensive list of drivers.
Also if you have the windows 98 cd you will be able to load them for that.
if you look into the control panel you can adjust the settings which can sometimes alter the sounds.
If you need more assistance can you provide details of your machine particularly the sound card

04 Envoy xuv 4 wh. drv. stays in 4 wh drv. HI

Try putting your transmission in neutral and slowly shifting the 4wd selector to each position but you have to wait a few seconds between selsctions as it has to go through your vehicles computer, shifting to fast will cause your symptoms. I hope this helped you out. Roger

Unable to get onto internet explorer

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa.

Use another computer to download "combofix" from bleeping computer, run this and part of the fix is to reset the IE settings back

IE should restart after this, If not download say Firefox and get this installed and see if that will work, most cases it will and IE not, it can be bugs causeing your IE to stop working

downlaod it and copy and paste that file into the following directory

C:WINDOWSsystem
C:WINDOWSsystem32
then restart the system your problem will be surely solved!!

No sound on PC/Lost sound files/Diabled Audio codecs

you need to uninstall pervious installed cd audio driver, Then re-install your audio driver again /restart your computer. if you do not have the cd audio driver, you can visit the website of your motherboard manufacturer. Enter in the search box your motherboard model number which can be located at the motherboard plate somewhere the pci exponsion slot. download the audio driver full path. Pleasure to help you!
