The emergency latch release is behind the small round panel below the main tub door. **Unplug the washer or turn off the breaker before attempting any suggestion given here please** To open the access door ( small round panel ) you'll require a small round needle shaped object or really narrow screwdriver. Put it in the small hole in the panel push in slightly and turn to about 6 o'clock...clockwise that is The small round cover should now come off and expose the pump with the string going through a hook on the pump housing. Be very careful as the edges are very sharp. A string will be threaded through the pump housing and you just need to pull it to open the main door. Some times you can pull to hard and pull the release cord off then it is a pain in the **** to put back on you have to remove the inter door seal spring then putting back on is the pain i suggest calling a tech to do it if its under a year old still under warrenty. the door not opeing is a problem factory defecy in the pressure swiitch
