We have problem with our Miller Syncrowave 250 DX Tig welder. On start up it displays 19.0 in the top (V) LCD readout and 732 in the one below (A) this is then followed by a -3 in the top readout alone. When attempting to weld DC (-) it blasts at high amps melting the tungsten irrespective of where the amps are set on the dial. When set to the DC an HLP -12 error message is displayed.
Does anyone have any idea if this problem is fixable or if we are now the proud owners of an expensive blue drinks trolley?
Cheers, Bill.
