I've recently downloaded some free games for Nintendo DS Lite into a micro SD card - around 8 games in total. However, when I inserted the micro-SD card (through the adopter) into the DS game slot on top of the unit and fire up the DS. Unfortunately, the unit could not detect the games on the slot.
I've tried reformatting the micro-SD, however, the same thing happens. How can I sold this?
Thanks!
Have you installed Moonshell onto the micro-SD card? It has to be there to see the games. If you have Moonshell installed, you should be able to navigate to where you stored your files. Your adapter should have come with a CD with Moonshell on it or you can download a newer version on the internet.
If you have purchesed a NDSTT card with the micro sd card and it is asking for menu? then you are missing some file's on the memory card, i have the files, because i have several of these cards, and i juts copied the files that i didn't have on to the computer then transfered them to the memory card that needed them, it now works, not sure if it would work if it wasn't a NDSTT card,
Wellll.....DUH ***** use ds download and play at gamestop walk into a Gamestop or a EB Games fire up your DS and download free DS games by using DS DOWNLOAD'n'PLAY
SOURCE: I've recently downloaded some free games for
put the software on the sd card the ds kernal software then goto the removeble drive, open it and create a new folder, call it Games, put all of the games into this folder so it creates a new directory in the menu. Make sure you u use winrar or winzip to extract the files to the folder.

i am unable to read sd card from my phone or any card reader.
I think the Zelda: Phantom Hourglass game tore it up!
After playing the Zelda game a few times, it stoped reading the DS game cards.
I downloaded some free games from the web into my SD card, and when i tried to use it in my DS Lite, it won't load. Next thing I know, my computer was also asking me to reformat the chip, and I did ... and then I downloaded more games to the chip ... but it still won't work in my DSL. (however, GBA cartridges are still readable)
Thanks.
I recently bought a ds using r4ds3 with 2GB micro sd card.
The problem is that after sometime the DS cannot detect the games in the SD. I try to check the the sd using card reader and the games does not appear but the sd card is still full. Eventhough i format the sd card and copy in the back up the same thing happen again.
