Kitchenaid microwave oven KBMC140HSO

Microwave will not function ----beeping continiously-----An observation once power is removed for 10-15 minutes Microwave will operate normally for one cycle----------after that, this unit reverts back to a continious beeping and not opertative.

Please help!

    When it goes into this "beeping" mode, does the display show any codes or anything unusual?

I started having the same problem with my KBMC140HSSO. You cannot see the error codes without disassembling the control panel (the codes are on another display that covered by the front panel). After doing so I found the error code to be F2, E3 which is "Key held down too long, or key shorted". I am ordering a replacement keypad and will report back if this fixes the problem.

    I am having this beeping problem as well with my KBMC140HSS0. Did you replace the switch membrane (part number 4453025) or the electical control circuit (part number 4452482). Also, how to I get the front off to access the control panel?

It has to be fixed by an Electronic Technician.

KEMS379BSS just installed. When I run the microwave at end of time it beeps 3 times light goes out but fan stays running. after a few minutes it beeps 3 times again, etc. etc. and never shuts off.
The microwave is not supposed to shut off if you have food in it. it is designed to stay running so you will not forget your popcorn.

The magnetron may be defective. You can replace the magnetron, there is no other possibility.

Microwave beeping and F2 error code
hi,
The F2 code is a keyboard failure. Since it's intermittent I would check for a loose wire/connection. open the control panel and reset the ribbon cable on the circuit board....

Microwave/Convection Oven has mind of its own: turns to Crisp mode on its own.
Yes this is a touchpad issue. As you have noted the crisp button is stuck and this is the cause of this. You can try removing the keypad and push up the pressed button. If its jammed then replacing it is the only way.

GE xl 1800 beep
The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a minute, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

Let us know if the hard reset doesn't fix it.
