1st, try to clean pin of simcard, you cau use eraser, or maybe simcard ic problem. If you set drop it before, by using soldering iron, Solder with a lot at the end of the soldering iron tip, place on the surface of the ic, the process must be done carefully. never press the soldering tip, leave a lot of Solder is the press. but remember, you need to apply some sim Solder flux in the IC. If the problem is still not finished, then you need to change sim ic new.
Before you do anything with it, please clean the sim card and sim card connector on the handset. Even a small rust/dust can create this problem.
If it doesn't help, you need to check the Sim card on another Handset. In most cases, this is damaged sim connector, and will be necessary to replace or re-soldered/refreshed. Sometimes even sim IC is the culprit which you need to replace or play jumper tricks. I would suggest you to get it done from a service center or from a nokia mobile repairing center.

On rare occasions the SIM card needs replacing, your network service provider can give you a new one, sometimes it's free.
